Investors will have to wait until Tuesday to find out about Strategy’s Bitcoin (BTC) purchases in early October due to the Columbus Day holiday.

Michael Saylor, Strategy chair, hinted at further Bitcoin acquisitions with the message, "There’s always room for more orange," in a post on X.com.

Strategy Spent Six Times Weekly Budget on BTC Buybacks in September

Strategy ended September by purchasing 334 Bitcoin (BTC) for $28.7 million, bringing its total holdings to 848,000 BTC. Simultaneously, they repurchased 1.77 million shares of their STRC preferred stock for $176.3 million.

Analyst: Strategy Raised Cash for Potential Future BTC Buys

Independent analyst Shanaka Anslem Perera suggests Strategy's recent moves indicate a strategy of building cash reserves before investing in Bitcoin:

"Strategy raised $5.41 billion from new common shares in Q3 and ended the period with 1,666 more BTC than at the end of June. ... During the third quarter, Strategy raised billions through share sales, but much of the proceeds supported cash reserves and preferred shareholders. Raising capital does not necessarily mean buying Bitcoin."

Perera notes that 9.5% of the raised funds was allocated to Bitcoin purchases, while other uses included cash reserves, dividends, and preferred share buybacks.
