Strategy spends triple its weekly Bitcoin outlay on STRC buybacks
Latest News
Published: Nov 2, 2026
Strategy spent a significant portion of its funds on buying back its STRC preferred shares and Bitcoin. According to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company:
- Bought back $208.2 million in STRC preferred shares.
- Acquired approximately $65.5 million worth of Bitcoin (811 BTC) at an average price of $80,846.
- Sold 1.18 million MSTR shares for net proceeds of $164 million.
Of the $164 million from share sales, $65.5 million was used to buy Bitcoin, while the remaining $98.5 million was allocated to its USD Cash balance.
This latest purchase follows a significant amount of STRC buybacks in October, highlighting the company's strategic focus on repurchasing its shares and accumulating Bitcoin.
