Wyoming Integrates Chainlink for Stablecoin Reserve Verification
Latest News
Published: Sep 2, 2026
Wyoming is leveraging Chainlink to bring near-real-time reserve verification for its state-issued Frontier Stable Token (FRNT), expanding the oracle provider’s reach across tokenized financial markets.
The Wyoming Stable Token Commission announced on Wednesday the adoption of Chainlink Proof of Reserve to publish verified data on FRNT’s reserves and token supply onchain. This system combines independent examinations by The Network Firm with Chainlink’s infrastructure, ensuring data availability in near real time.
Wyoming already provides daily reserve attestations for FRNT and, per the GENIUS Act, monthly disclosures of reserve composition and outstanding stablecoin supply. The commission stated that the Chainlink integration will offer more timely insights into FRNT’s backing changes between reporting periods.
Additionally, the commission is working to implement Chainlink’s Secure Mint feature, requiring verified reserves to match or exceed FRNT’s total supply before new tokens can be minted.
FRNT, launched in January, is backed by US dollars and short-term US Treasurys, with interest income from reserves deposited into Wyoming’s School Foundation Program.
This move follows Wyoming’s recent migration of FRNT from LayerZero to Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), making CCIP FRNT’s exclusive cross-chain infrastructure.
