Strive Adds 469 Bitcoin to Reach 25,000 BTC Treasury
Latest News (Published: Sep 14, 2026)
Strive, a top-five Bitcoin treasury company and asset manager, made its latest acquisition of 469 Bitcoin for approximately $36.6 million last week, bringing its total holdings to an impressive 25,000 BTC.
According to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday, Strive purchased these Bitcoins between September 8th and 11th at an average price of $77,954 per BTC, including fees and expenses. At the time of purchase, Bitcoin’s market price was around $78,823 (based on Coingecko data).
Strive CEO Matt Cole confirmed that this purchase was entirely funded through proceeds from sales of its SATA preferred stock, which has now surpassed $1 billion in notional value outstanding. The filing indicates a significant increase in SATA shares outstanding, adding 402,541 shares during the same period, reaching approximately 10.4 million shares.
As of September 11th, Strive also held substantial cash reserves of $204.2 million and 505,000 shares of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock, valued at about $49.8 million.
Strive became the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder in late August when a 1,800-BTC purchase pushed it past crypto exchange Bullish. The company’s rapid growth continued following its merger with Asset Entities in September 2025, making it a publicly traded Bitcoin treasury company.
Market Performance:
Strive’s Nasdaq-traded shares experienced a 7% increase on Monday, reaching around $29, continuing a remarkable rally that has seen the stock price more than double over the past month, according to Yahoo Finance data. This surge in value has also brought Strive’s shares above the $27 exercise price for warrants set to expire in mid-October. If exercised, these warrants could provide the company with an additional $700 million in capital, as per BitcoinTreasuries.net.
Cole previously suggested that it was conceivable for Strive to become the second-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder by year-end, although he noted that this was not his base case prediction.
